Since 1999, I have enjoyed bringing the life and music and Eddie J. Kendrick to his fans around the world, and I hope to continue doing that here! SOPHISTICATED. STYLISH. SEDUCTIVE. SOULFUL. Just a few words that describe the artist, Eddie Kendrick. The charismatic singer first found fame as one-fifth of the original lineup of the legendary Motown vocal group, The Temptations ~ then later on his own as a soloist. Eddie, also affectionately known as "Cornbread", has come to define just what the perfect tenor should sound like. His sensual stylings and effortless falsetto inspired and influenced a generation of singers who followed after him, and he continues to be an influence to many young artists today. I have been a fan of Eddie's since I was nine years old, growing up in the early '70s and I still adore him. Meeting him in 1982 was truly a "Dream Come True" for me. My little corner of cyberspace here seeks to pay tribute to Eddie Kendrick ~ a true soul man and his music.
